At the Glenwood Branch library today, Mr. Jon and Friends Live runs at 2 p.m. for families. Drop-in, all ages.

Coming up at the library today. East Columbia has Teen Summer Programming from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and AV Studio at 11. Glenwood runs Babysitting 101 from noon to 3, and Mr. Jon and Friends Live at 2. Elkridge has Summer of STEAM Camp Elkridge for ages 6 to 10 at 2 p.m., Family Fun at the Library tonight at 6:30, and No-Stitch Identity Patches at 6, part of the branch's Pride Month programming. Savage runs Reader's Choice Book Club at 2:30, and Celebrating Pride: Pajama Time at 7.

County Executive Calvin Ball broke ground earlier this month on Howard County's first Bus Rapid Transit stop. Howard County joined the Dementia Friendly America Network this past week. The county dedicated a bocce court this past week to Grace Kubofcik, a senior-recreation advocate. Columbia Association awarded more than $1 million in memberships through its CA Points program this year, marking 25 years. The county Finance Department updated information on residential tax credits at howardcountymd.gov. Howard County Finance also rolled out Property Tax Digital Communications for residents. The Aging and Independence office posted updated Housing Resources for older adults. At East Columbia, Little Learners Storybook Friends runs today at 2 p.m. for ages 2 to 5. And East Columbia hosts Pajama Time Under The Stars tonight at 6:30 for ages birth to 5.
